VEBO is now SPUR EXPERIENCES.

August is packed with great events in Colorado.  Here are 5 Things to Do in Colorado in August 2016:

1
Denver Burger Battle (August 4th at City Park)

This is an awesome event for anybody loves burgers and beers… and who doesn’t? OK, vegetarians can skip this event. Everyone else should check out the Denver Burger Battle, featuring 15 great burgers. Try as many as you can handle. This event moves from Sculpture Park to City Park this year. It features great local restaurants, including Park Burger, Crave, Highland Tap and Burger, and Tag Burger Bar.

2
Winter Park Uncorked Wine & Food Festival (August 20th)

Winter Park has been developing a series of summer events, and one of the most anticipated this year is Uncorked. This event features wine and food tasting with live music.

3
National Parks Free Entrance Days (August 25th through 28th)

Many people have commented that Red Rocks had a slow start to summer 2016. August heats up in a major way with something for everyone. From country (Eric Church on the 9th and 10th) to electronic (Pretty Lights on the 12th and 13th) to Reggae on the Rocks (8/27) to 80s (Heart and Joan Jett on the 30th), Red Rocks is stacked in August. Many people are also looking forward to Deadpool for Film on the Rocks on August 23rd.

4
MUDD Volleyball Tournament

One of the largest (and without question, the dirtiest) sports-based fundraisers of the summer. This classic has been going on for over 30 years in Colorado and it raises nearly $200K annually. Proceeds benefit the March of Dimes. This event features 300 coed teams, many of which show up in themed costumes. It also has great tailgating and vendors.

5
So Many Red Rocks Concerts
