Summer is (finally) quickly approaching in the Centennial State.  While many of the great Colorado festivals and events are slated for July and August, make sure not to sleep on the month of June.  Here are 5 Things To Do in Colorado in June 2016:

6th Annual Corey Rose Benefit Concert (June 4th at Hard Rock Denver)

Each year, this event gets bigger and bigger. This year, the party is too big to squeeze inside the Hard Rock Café, so they’ve moved it outside to the Hard Rock Patio and Pavilions streets. This includes an outdoor concert, beer tents, BBQ food and prizes.

Spur Experiences is a proud sponsor of this event, which benefits Make-A-Wish Colorado and the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation. Spur Experiences will be giving away some great experiences at the event.

Telluride Bluegrass Festival (June 16-19)

2016 marks the 43rd installment of this annual event. This is one of the best music festivals in the country, and it takes place in the beautiful city of Telluride. The event is scheduled around the summer solstice and this makes for the perfect four-day weekend to kick off the summer season.

Cruiser Rocks 2016 (June 18th)

This event simply encourages people to “Ride Bikes! Drink Beer! Get Awesome!”

Equal parts pub crawl, bike ride and park day, this event is a perfect way to enjoy Pearl Street and Wash Park. Think of this not as a race, rather a party on bikes.

Cruiser Rocks benefits Love Hope Strength, which encourages people to “get on the list” to be potential blood marrow donors for people fighting cancer.

Top Taco Denver (June 23rd)

Bottomless tacos and tequila. Need we say more? Perhaps not, but we will… not only do you get unlimited food and drink, but it is from some really great restaurants. The 2016 lineup includes Tamayo, Los Chingones, Torchy’s Tacos and 40 other amazing restaurants. The event is moving this year to right outside of the Tivoli Center in downtown Denver.

Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour in Keystone (June 25-26 in River Run Village)

Keystone is known for its family friendly skiing during the winter, but it is also a great summer destination. The weather is beautiful and there are several cool (and affordable) summer festivals.

This festival focuses on celebrating bacon. Yep, bacon. Bacon enthusiasts enjoy live music, bacon bloody marys, beer, and a wide range of cuisine featuring (you guessed it) bacon.

What did we miss?  Let us know of any great things to do in Colorado in June 2016.  Next month, we’ll be posting the July edition.
