Frozen Dead Guy Days (March 10th - 12th)

Grandpa Bredo turns 109 years old this year and is chilling in Nederland, Colorado - literally.  He died in 1989 in Norway but through a variety of circumstances his body found its way to a maintained frozen state in the small Colorado mountain city.  Now the city celebrates his residency with the Frozen Dead Guy Days.  There's live music, craft brews, bacon, coffin races, and many more activities you'll wish you could freeze in time.

Subaru WinterFest (March 18th - 19th)

Ask any native Coloradan and they will tell you that the best part of skiing/riding is après (drinks and apps after a hard day on the slopes).  The Subaru WinterFest at Copper Mountain is a festival combining live music, s'mores, and giveaways.
